About the Administrator

Melissa Copes is from the Shelby County area. She graduated from Carson-Newman College with a Bachelor's degree in Spanish and Secondary education. She taught Spanish for 9 years. She received both a Master's degree and and Education Specialist degree from University of Montevallo and has been a practicing administrator for 2 years. She lives in Shelby County with her husband and three sons.
